Job title:- Wellbeing Day Care Worker
Hours of work :- 15 hours per week working Mondays and Thursdays
Duties: – To support and assist the running of the day care centre for older adults some with dementia and complex needs.
Location :-Brookmeadow Court Hall Green
Age Concern Birmingham are looking for a committed, motivated and compassionate individual to promote independence and facilitate social interaction in a user led environment supporting older adults and providing respite for carers.
Would you like to join our committed and passionate team of staff and volunteers making a difference to the lives of older adults and carers.
The role would include planning and delivering a range of activities and sessions, assisting with meals and refreshments, to provide escort support on transport to and from the centre, key working, client reviews and 1-1 support to clients throughout the day.
Full training and supervision provided.
Experience in care of older adults and an understanding of adults with dementia is required either on a paid or personal basis.
