Are you an experienced, compassionate leader passionate about supporting unpaid
carers?

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our team at Age
Concern Birmingham helping lead the delivery of high-quality services through our Carers
Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity to support carers of all ages across Birmingham, ensuring
they receive the advice, support, and recognition they deserve.

Key Responsibilities
 Provide effective operational leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers within
the Carers Hub.
 Assist in developing and delivering carer support services, including outreach,
events, one-to-one support, and advice sessions.
 Ensure services meet contractual obligations and quality standards, including
safeguarding and data protection.
 Support the collection of performance data, case studies, and feedback to monitor
impact and report to funders.
 Develop strong links with local organisations, healthcare providers, and community
groups.
 Deputise for the Service Manager as required, including attending strategic meetings
or representing the service externally.
 Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement.
