Connections Activity Worker

We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Connections to join our dedicated team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help improve quality of life, boost wellbeing, and
bring joy through engaging and meaningful activities.
You will design and deliver a wide range of individual and group activities that
promote social interaction, physical movement, cognitive stimulation, and fun.
Whether it’s a craft session, reminiscence group, gentle exercise, games, or a themed
celebration – your creativity and care will help create a vibrant, inclusive environment
where every individual feels valued.

Key Responsibilities
 Plan and lead a varied programme of activities suited to the interests, needs, and
abilities of all, including those with dementia or physical limitations.
 Engage with the local communities by running one activity session per day which is
open up to the public.
 Encourage participation and social interaction in a respectful, person-centred way.
 Liaise with families, volunteers, and colleagues to ensure activities are inclusive and
appropriate.
 Assist with organising events, outings, and seasonal celebrations.
 Monitor and record participation and feedback to support continuous improvement.
 Ensure activities comply with safeguarding, health and safety, and care standards.
