Connections Activity Worker
We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Connections to join our dedicated team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help improve quality of life, boost wellbeing, and
bring joy through engaging and meaningful activities.
You will design and deliver a wide range of individual and group activities that
promote social interaction, physical movement, cognitive stimulation, and fun.
Whether it’s a craft session, reminiscence group, gentle exercise, games, or a themed
celebration – your creativity and care will help create a vibrant, inclusive environment
where every individual feels valued.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead a varied programme of activities suited to the interests, needs, and
abilities of all, including those with dementia or physical limitations.
Engage with the local communities by running one activity session per day which is
open up to the public.
Encourage participation and social interaction in a respectful, person-centred way.
Liaise with families, volunteers, and colleagues to ensure activities are inclusive and
appropriate.
Assist with organising events, outings, and seasonal celebrations.
Monitor and record participation and feedback to support continuous improvement.
Ensure activities comply with safeguarding, health and safety, and care standards.
