Day Care Cook

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Day Care Cook to join our team.
This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary, medical,
and cultural needs of our citizens.

Key Responsibilities
 Plan, prepare and cook daily meals and snacks for in accordance with dietary
requirements (e.g. diabetic, low-salt, soft foods).
 Manage food hygiene and kitchen safety standards in line with Food Standards
Agency (FSA) regulations and HACCP procedures.
 Maintain accurate records including temperature checks, stock rotation, and cleaning
schedules.
 Order and manage kitchen supplies in line with budgetary guidelines.
 Collaborate with staff to support a positive and respectful mealtime experience for all
service users.

Based within Shard End although there may be an expectation to travel to other
centres across Birmingham
