We have a position within Birmingham Carers Hub Contact Team, for a specialist support service for carers of people with dementia in Birmingham

Birmingham Carers Hub is a local service for family carers, offering a range of services including information and advice, support groups, carers assessments, training and an emergency back-up service.

Age Concern Birmingham works in partnership with Forward Carers to deliver the Birmingham Carers Hub Contact Team.

Dementia Carer Advice and Information Officer (Full Time post)

This post is to support our service providing specialist information, support and advice to carers of people with dementia, joining the Carers Hub team based at Age Concern Birmingham.

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (occasional evenings and weekend working outside of the above hours in response to the requirements of the service)

£20,500 per annum

The post will be based at the Carers Hub Contact Team Hub at Age Concern Birmingham head office, 76-78 Boldmere Road, Sutton Coldfield B73 5TJ. However, the post will require travel to our other centres around the city and provide home based support to carers.
