Dementia Groups Facilitator

difference to Dementia Carers?

This is an opportunity for a confident individual and we would like to hear from
candidates who are highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast paced
environment.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the work of the charity and
would enjoy making a real difference to Dementia carers lives.

Age Concern Birmingham and Age UK Birmingham and are working in
partnership as part of Birmingham Carers Hub to support existing Dementia
carers community groups and develop new groups across the city.

Key tasks include:
 Supporting existing Dementia Carers groups
 Establishing engaging new groups working with them to become self-led,
independent and sustainable
 Delivering a range of activities and workshops
 Supporting Dementia carers to access the wider support available from
Birmingham Carers Hub

Birmingham Carers Hub is a partnership led by Forward Carers, to deliver
support and services for unpaid Carers in Birmingham.
