A New Exciting Opportunity is available for an enthusiastic individual with both care and supervisory experience to join our friendly care team at Jubilee Citizens UK a charity supported by Age Concern Birmingham.

Jubilee Citizens UK is a CQC overall Good rated established Charity providing care and support to older adults living in Birmingham, both within shelter housing services and the community.

Qualifications on not high on the agenda for this role, the right personality and life skills are more important in order to lead by example. We would like to hear from candidates who genuinely care for people, are highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a track record of delivering quality care and have confident supervisory skills, but we will be there to support you.

As Deputy Care Manager you would work alongside the Registered Manager to continually develop, manage and provide high quality person centred care and support services to people across Birmingham both within sheltered housing schemes and within in their own homes.

Your role would be mainly working Monday to Friday 9-5, with hours of an evening and weekend dependent on the needs of the service.

No day will be the same as the role will involve supporting staff, meeting new customers and their families, liaising with social work teams, commissioners and organisations to develop and promote the service, while always working to provide the best outcomes for our users.

You will be supporting in the recruitment of committed care staff and their ongoing development throughout their employment.

An on call commitment will be required for this role on a rota basis.
