Are you looking for an exciting new supervisory opportunity working with older adults within a day care?

Age Concern Birmingham has a vacancy for a Senior Day Care Worker

Hours of work :- 37.5 per week Monday to Friday (hours between) 8.30 – 5.30

To coordinate the running of day care for older adults with dementia / support needs.

Location :- Across Birmingham mainly working within the Shard End and Harborne area of Birmingham

We are seeking a committed, motivated and compassionate individual to promote independence and facilitate social interaction in a user led environment supporting older adults some with support needs and providing respite for carers. You role would include supervising day care workers, cooks and volunteers, taking responsibility for the day to day management and quality of the services offered.

Induction, training and supervision provided.

Experience of either paid or unpaid caring for an older adult and an understanding of dementia is required.

Supervisory experience also required.
