Wellbeing Day Care Worker
Day care is an essential service that provides friendly trained staff who provide personalised support on a short or long term basis. The service offers a wide range of inclusive and stimulating activities. Citizens meet new friends and this engagement helps prevent loneliness, whilst also providing respite for their carers.

As a Day Centre Worker, you will be working as part of a dedicated team of fully supported staff who have our citizens emotional and physical wellbeing at the core of all they do.
Salary – £18,135 pro rota per annum
Hours – flexibility available up to 37.5 hours
Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that’s as varied as it is rewarding. As a Day Worker, you’ll help our citizens enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care they deserve, and by showing warmth, compassion and empathy to the clients and their families. You will provide support by encouraging their participation in meaningful activities as well as providing support and companionship.
What experience do you need?
Due to our training, you do not need to have previous care experience (although advantageous), however we do need someone who is compassionate, has a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Above all, you’ll be passionate about ensuring our citizens have receive a stimulating quality service.
