Age Concern Birmingham offers Day Services across Birmingham for Older Vulnerable Adults, many experiencing Dementia. Our services offer a range of fun, inclusive and stimulating activities, while giving the opportunity to meet new friends, supporting wellbeing and preventing loneliness. Our Day Services also provide respite for unpaid carers.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team with new roles starting in May 2022….
You will be working as part of a dedicated friendly team.
Salary – £18,135 pro rota per annum
Hours – Monday – Friday, flexible hours available up to 37.5 hours
What Can You Expect:
Every day will be different, undertaking a varied rewarding role delivering fun activities and supporting older adults to get the most out of our services. A full induction and Training will be provided.
Age Concern Birmingham offers staff, after three months of employment access to Perkbox.
What experience do you need?
Experience of providing care and support either paid or unpaid. Be able to demonstrate compassion and have a can-do approach with good communication skills.
